Variations on a Cloud is a song cover released to YouTube on September 11th, 2022, as part of Lighthouse Anthology's 10th anniversary tribute album to ミラクルミュージカル, called Hawaii Part X. It was released prior to the rest of the album, as its "zeroth" track, in accordance to the original album's release.

Lead vocals are done by Maudelin and Vella, with backup vocals from Willduit and ShattersofLight.

The song was uploaded to YouTube at 12:12 PM, 9/11/22, twelve minutes after their 46th episode of InuYasha was uploaded.

Its album cover was made by Willduit (who also made Hawaii: Part X's).

  • Much like the 'X' in "Hawaii: Part X" representing the original Hawaii: Part II's 10th anniversary, some ideas for Variations on a Cloud were thrown around to sell the same idea, though eventually none of them were good enough to be finalized into the title. One such idea would have been "Variations on a C10ud", replacing the "lo" with "10".


  • Most of the final work was on this song was done on September 9th, 2022, on Maudelin's laptop while he was in the car on a road trip. He and ShattersofLight were sending files over Discord for hours trying to get her vocals right, he says it was a lot of fun.
